As I sit here watching my girls fight over the same piece of paper I wonder what is actually going through their heads! In my opinion, it is a pointless argument and we have plenty of paper in this house to go around. I guess this is a glimpse of what is to come in my household with three girls as they grow up! I'm shaking in my boots... no really.. I am!
On another note, I got home from work last night around 1am because of some dumb issues we were having with our mircos system. I got home, laid down in bed just to realize that the next morning was the first day back to school for Gabriel and I actually had to set my alarm for 7:30am. I was dreading the fact, considering that all of break I have been sleeping to almost 9 every morning because there was so much stuff going on that the kids would sleep in. I reluctently got up at 8 to my 730 alarm by the time I was finished snoozing it. I went into Gabriel's room and was surprised to find him still asleep. I got him up and told him he has 10 min to get out of the house. I went to the kitchen and made him a packed lunch for the first time in 2 weeks and sent him off on the bus. I then realized that the house is still quiet and all the girls are still sleeping, so I decided to quietly lay back down, snuggle under the blankets and fall back asleep until the girls got up around 915. It was glorious that extra hour of sleep!
Right now Bella is quietly playing on her play mat while the Breanna and Olivia are finally done arguing over the paper (Breanna came to apologize and Olivia gave her a hug and said that's ok... clearly typical girl behavior)and they are now watching sprout now that my comcast cable box issues are finally resolved.
Here is to another day in the new year....
